"Florida deserves the barrage of hurricanes that has been hitting them because they elected Bush" - Someone said.
Seems a bit harsh of nature, but perhaps there is some truth to it. After all, hurricanes are fueled by warm ocean water. The warmer the water, the greated the chance and strength of hurricanes. Due to global warming, the ocean waters are hotter. Bush withdrew the US from the Kyoto protocol on global warming. And Florida cast the deciding vote for Bush. Ergo, the Floridians are getting their just desserts.
But what about Texas? Texas cast the largest number of electors for Bush of any state. Why are we being spared this year of hurricane frenzy?
